C 18 – Chairs
Tip up. Nest together. Gain space.
The C 18 is a lightweight training and conference chair with a plastic shell on an X-leg steel tube frame. The seat automatically tips up against the backrest when vacated, so several chairs can be nested together to save space. Available with or without armrests, with glides or castors, and optionally with an upholstered seat.
Der C 18 ist für Räume gedacht, die sich mehrmals am Tag neu ausrichten müssen: Schulung am Vormittag, Besprechung am Nachmittag, freie Fläche am Abend. Die Sitzschale kippt beim Aufstehen automatisch gegen die Rückenlehne — dadurch lassen sich mehrere Stühle ineinanderschieben und platzsparend am Rand des Raumes parken, statt sie stapeln oder wegtragen zu müssen. Ein integrierter Clip verbindet benachbarte Stühle zu stabilen Reihen.
Das X-Bein-Gestell aus pulverbeschichtetem Stahlrohr ist wahlweise mit Gleitern oder mit Lenkrollen ausgestattet — je nachdem, ob der Stuhl fest stehen oder frei beweglich sein soll. Der C 18 ist mit oder ohne Armlehnen erhältlich, die Schale in mehreren Farben. Auf Wunsch wird der Sitz mit einem gepolsterten Stoffbezug ausgestattet. Die Konstruktion ist nach ANSI/BIFMA X5.1 auf Stabilität, Belastung und Dauerhaltbarkeit geprüft.
