Ochno – Power & media

One cable, many functions.

Ochno is a modular USB-C connection system for the meeting room: a socket recessed into the table top connects a laptop or other device via USB-C to a hub underneath the table – device- and OS-independent, with no drivers or apps required. Sockets, LED switches and the control module (Power Conference Hub) can be daisy-chained to create individual room solutions.

Ochno creates the user-friendly meeting room: with the plug-and-play solution, users join discussions without delay, switch effortlessly between their own devices (BYOD) and a permanently installed video conferencing system, share media content and charge their device at the same time – all via a single cable.

A USB-C cable connects the end device, e.g. a laptop, to an elegant socket recessed into the table top (including a show-me button with LED status indicator). The socket is connected to a hub under the table, which in turn controls any device – regardless of manufacturer or operating system. Sharing and charging via USB-C included.

The centrepiece is the Power Conference Hub: it offers several USB-C ports for switching and full docking (HDMI 2.0 and USB 3.0 pass-through, up to 100 W power delivery), additional USB-A and HDMI ports, and a connection for optional cloud management via RJ45 or an external WiFi antenna. Up to four LED sockets can be connected to and controlled from one hub via a switch adapter.

The LED sockets are recessed into the table top through an 18–20 mm diameter hole (max. 30 mm installation depth) and are available in silver (aluminium) or black. Ongoing video conferences can share laptop content via Dynamic Switch without a separate dial-in. The system scales up to 16 users per room and is also available as a pre-configured bundle (hub incl. 4 sockets and USB-C connection cables).
